Downtown Disney Springs

Happy Saturday my loves! Where do you go when you need a 2 day quick getaway, warm weather, and a mini road trip? For me and my girls, it was Orlando. We contemplated on going to D.C. , Savannah, and even Texas. After many debates in the group chat we decided Orlando was perfect, and the 85 degree weather was a plus. Check out what we were up to!

Finnhenry’s – A Public House

Finnhenry’s is located in downtown Orlando, this place was stumbled upon. We were just in search of bloody mary’s and mimosas. We found so much more: great service, super chill atmosphere, and an awesome food selection. I decided to go with the chicken bacon ranch flatbread pictured above, it was literally the best. If you’re ever on Orange Avenue – the heart of downtown Orlando, this place is a must. Is it bad to say that I’m ready to visit again just to eat here?

Orange Avenue – Downtown Orlando

Because when you have great downtown backgrounds, impromptu photo shoots are a must. Even when you’re dressed super chill.

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

This place literally had soooo much to choose from, I was stressed out. Thankfully our waitress was a doll and was of assistance.  I decided to go with the Shrimp Chicken & Grits, as much as I’d like to try Shrimp and Grits….not trying to end up like Will Smith in Hitch (shell-fish allergy).  Also pictured, left to right: Steak & Eggs , Biscuit Breakfast, The Big Country, and of course, mine!

Bahama Breeze

Eating here, you can’t help but to relax and enjoy life. Because 1: you’re eating amazing food, and 2: because you’re basically on a mini vacation from your vacation. We choose to sit out on the deck to hear the live Reggae music for the total experience.

Pictured: Jerk Glazed Wings , Pineapple Mojito & Coconut Mojito. The wings were so good, we went twice!

Disney Springs

Perfect for serious shopping, casual or fine dining,& live entertainment.

Because did you really go to Orlando if you didn’t do anything Disney related?
