Brunchin’ At 5Church.

I had the pleasure of enjoying one of Uptown’s hideaways from the normal brunch crowds.  It’s hard to pinpoint what exactly makes 5Church so outstanding. Maybe it’s the interior or maybe it’s the menu. My opinion? It’s combination of the two. You can’t beat the Mimosas (which are only 3.00), or the  Spicy Bloody Mary’s.

Not just any ordinary biscuit, it features wild mushrooms, asparagus, this amazing truffle cream, and a sunny side up egg. I decided to add a side of bacon, because what’s brunch without the bacon? The 5Church Lamb Burger is another favorite here, it features a red onion marmalade, gorgonzola, and arugula. Yes, I had both. You know how girls are…(you get this, I get that, and we split it) because we’re so indecisive.

There’s also one located in Charleston, SC. I’ve never personally been to that specific location but it’s defiantly in the works.
